Although our brass band is relatively young, we already have quite a few very significant and prestigious prizes. Here are some of them:
The 2nd place in the 3rd category in a prestigious, international competition of brass bands Flicorno d’Oro which took place in Riva del Garda in Italy 19-23 March 2005. This success is regarded as the most important achievement in the history of our band because of the very high level of the contest.
‘Golden Horn’ – the main prize at the 12th Tournament of Brass Bands in Grodzisk Wielkopolski that took place 5 September 2004. Additionally, we got a cup for the best marching show and the best performance of an obligatory composition. It is worth mentioning that we got the Wielkopolska’s Marshal Cup.
The 1st place in stage and march contest during the 3rd International Championships of Polish Amateur Brass Bands which took place in Szamocin: 24 May 2003. Our conductor, Jacek Rybczyński got the silver medal in the category for ‘the best conductor’. Katarzyna Pawlak was regarded as the best majorette leader, and our dance group, Takt, got an audience prize.
The 2nd place in meeting with brass bands in Swarzędz: 13 September 2003.
